If all goes well Western Power Distribution will complete the installation of their new underground high voltage cable in October 2008 which will give us an electrical power supply.
The landscaping inside and outside the glasshouse will commence in the autumn of 2008 and the planting will follow as soon as possible after that. Installation of environmental control systems, heating/cooling, lighting, humidity will be completed at this time too.
We hope to open to the public in the spring of 2009 to view the tropical landscape and if all goes well with animals and butterflies soon after that.
We are sincerely grateful for the unfailing support of many, many people since the idea was first floated, and through the long and tedious planning process.
